Housekeeper - Scope of Work
Job Summary:
As a Housekeeper for our Communities, you will be responsible for ensuring that houses are clean, sanitized, and presentable before new residents move in and after previous residents move out. Your attention to detail and thorough cleaning procedures will contribute to creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for our residents.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed touchup cleaning services in clubhouse facilities and model homes, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing surfaces, and ensuring a pristine appearance for potential residents and visitors.
- Occasionally conduct preventative maintenance tasks for both interior and exterior areas, focusing on early detection of issues, lubrication, minor adjustments, and backup systems to minimize equipment downtime and costly repairs.
- Prepare rental units and model homes for new occupants by conducting thorough make-ready cleans, including deep cleaning, repairs, touch-ups, and ensuring all amenities and features are in optimal condition for showcasing and occupancy.
- Assist with stocking and maintaining inventory in model homes and leasing offices, including furniture, decor, promotional materials, and essential supplies to create an inviting and functional environment for potential residents and leasing activities.
- Provide support for on-site events and activities, including setup, coordination, attendee assistance, cleanup, and ensuring a positive experience for residents and guests during community events.
- Manage the distribution and maintenance of signage throughout the property, including directional signs, promotional banners, and informational displays, ensuring they are strategically placed, in good condition, and convey relevant information effectively.
- Report any maintenance issues or repair needs in houses to the appropriate personnel for prompt resolution.
- Conduct thorough inspections of houses before and after cleaning to ensure all cleaning tasks meet quality standards and resident expectations.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in housekeeping, janitorial services, or a related field.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and supplies
- Attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal communication in English.
Essential Functions:
- Typical work schedule, Monday through Friday, and after hours as requested.
- Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer and/or electronic device.
- Excellent organization, coordination, and project management skills.
- Lift or move items up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to walk, sit or stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal communication in English.
- Reliable transportation.
- Valid TX Driver's License.
